Rezum: An Innovative speedy solution for prostate problems

Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) with associated lower urinary tract symptoms, such as urinary frequency, nocturia and incomplete bladder emptying, is a common medical condition in males over 50 years of age and sometime earlier, eventhough it’s not considered as a serious threat to health.

Treatment usually includes surgical and non-surgical modalities such as lifestyle modification and medication.Historically, Transurethral Resection of the Prostate had been considered the gold standard mainstay of treatment; however, in recent years, minimally invasive techniques started to take its place. Rezum is a relatively new minimally invasive modality that is performed to treat BPH.

Rezum therapy is a non-surgical treatment that uses the natural energy stored in water vapor to remove excess prostate tissue that is pressing on the urethra. It is suitable for the majority of men presenting with urinary symptoms due to an enlarged prostate. Most patients start to experience symptom relief in about two weeks with a maximum benefit within three months. Patient responses can and do vary.

So far, data from available studies point towards the fact that Rezum therapy has great clinical outcomes with a satisfaction rate of 96% with a short-term risk of experiencing self-limited minor complications. It is applicable to outpatient setting, is effective in preserving sexual function and is versatile in its ability to treat a variety of prostate gland conditions. Its main strengths lie in its safety profile, few sexual side effects, no anesthetic needs and minimal cost.

State-of-the-art Treatment

The Rezum therapy system is made of a portable radiofrequency generator and delivery device to heat up a specific amount of water in the delivery device outside of the body. It uses radiofrequency to heat water into vapor, which is then injected directly into prostate during nine-second treatments, multiplied by 4 or 6, so a total treatment time will not exceed 10 minutes in most cases. On contact with the prostate tissue, vapor turns into water creating controlled damage to the cells that cause obstruction, and symptoms associated with BPH. Over time, the body will absorb and remove the treated tissue through the natural healing response.

Men who can benefit from Rezum therapy are those who choose to stop or avoid BPH medications, are not interested in other surgical BPH procedures, and who don’t have severe symptoms that need surgery.

Benefits of the Rezum Therapy

The Rezum therapy offers an alternative to standard BPH management and has been supported by The National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE). Some of these benefits include:

Clinically proven, safe and effective modality

Preservation of sexual function

Significant improvement in BPH symptoms

A rapid return to normal daily activities

Fewer adverse effects

A good alternative to medications and surgical procedures with an improved quality of life

No general anesthesia required

Simple in-office or out-patient therapy

What to Expect After Rezum

After Rezum procedure, patients can return to normal activities within a few days. The recovery speed is largely based on the body’s ability to heal. Typically, improvement is seen in as fast as two weeks after the procedure, but the patient may need to keep the urinary catheter for a week after, with the full effect taking place by three months. Clinical studies have shown a good, sustained symptom improvement for up to 4 years and they are ongoing to determine longer term outcomes.

The sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are infections that mostly spread from one to another through sexual contact, usually through vaginal, oral, or anal sex. But sometimes they can spread through other intimate physical contact as in herpes and HPV.

According to the WHO, over 1 million STDs are acquired every day worldwide and the majority of which cause no symptoms. They can be caused by bacteria, viruses, and parasites and affect both men and women, but mostly the health problems they cause are more severe in women. If a pregnant woman has an STD, it can result in serious health problems for the baby.

STDs aren’t always accompanied with symptoms or with only minimal symptoms. So, it is possible to have an infection and not know it and even pass it to others. Without treatment, they might result in serious health issues. Fortunately, most STDs are easy to treat. STDs caused by bacteria or parasites can be treated by antibiotics. There is no available cure for viral STDs, but medicines can offer symptom relief and lower the risk of its spread.

If you are sexually active, you should have a talk with your health care provider about your risk for catching STDs and if you need to get tested.

What Causes STDs?

STDs include just about every kind of infection. Bacterial STDs include chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis. STDs caused by viruses and including HIV, genital herpes, HPV, and hepatitis B. Trichomoniasis is caused by a parasite.

What Are The Top Sexually Transmitted Diseases?

Chlamydia

Chlamydia is a common bacterial infection of the genital tract. It may be difficult to detect early because it often causes no symptoms. But the good news it is easy to treat once it’s diagnosed.

Gonorrhea

Gonorrhea is a common STD that is caused by a bacterial infection. Often doesn’t cause symptoms and sometime cause burning sensation and Whitish-Yellowish discharge, but easily treatable once diagnosed. If left untreated, it may lead to serious health problems.

Ureaplasma & Mycoplasma

Common bacteria, present in the urinary and genital system, especially in women, usually doesn’t cause symptoms, treatable once diagnosed. If left untreated, it may lead to some health problems especially in women trying to get pregnant.

Hepatitis B

Hepatitis B is a virus that can cause liver disease and usually spread through sex or sharing personal hygiene items like razors or toothbrushes. It is considered the leading cause of liver cancers worldwide.

Genital Herpes

Genital herpes is a highly contagious STD that infects the mouth and genitals. Most people usually do not know they got infected. While there is no cure, medicines available are used to prevent outbreaks, there’s 2 types, the type 1 which is usually oral one, and the type which is more genital one.

HIV & AIDS

HIV, an infection with the human immunodeficiency virus, may interfere with the body’s ability to fight off various infections that cause illness, and it may cause AIDS, a chronic, life-threatening disease.

Human Papillomavirus (HPV)

HPV infection is one of the most common forms of STDs. HPV usually has no symptoms and goes away by itself. Some forms might put women at great risk of cervical cancer and other forms may cause genital warts.

Syphilis

Syphilis is a common bacterial infection. It can be cured with medicine. However, if left untreated it can cause serious issues.

Trichomoniasis

Trichomoniasis is a common STD caused by Trichomonas vaginalis and spreads during sexual intercourse with someone who already has the infection. Most people having trichomoniasis do not experience any symptoms.

If you suspect that you have one of these or other STDs, contact your doctor for testing. Timely diagnosis and treatment are important to avoid more-severe, potentially life-threatening health problems and to avoid infecting others.

Prevention of STDs

There are several ways to reduce the risk of catching an STD such as:

Use condoms correctly and consistently.

Do tests with the fixed partner before starting sexual life.

Get vaccines against HPV and hepatitis B.

Get Screened for Prostate and Testicular Cancer

It is crucial to take our health seriously, whether by being proactive about visiting the doctor, by doing relevant self-exams, or simply by learning about the health issues that directly affect us. For the men out there, there are two types of cancers, prostate and testicular cancers, which can directly affect us among other cancers. Yet, many might not know much about them.

If prostate and testicular cancers are detected early, they are highly curable. That’s why routine screenings for these diseases are considered an important part of the preventive health plan. Screening is looking for cancer but before experiencing any symptoms helping to find it at an early stage. The value of a screening test does not depend on its ability to detect a disease only, but on its ability to improve a person’s outcome considering both the duration and quality of life.

Several tools can be used to diagnose genitourinary cancers, including a physical exam, a digital rectal exam, blood tests, imaging, and biopsies. Before suggesting any tests, doctors will take into account your symptoms, results of the physical exam, and other medical conditions or family history.

Screening for Prostate Cancer

The older you get, the more likely to get prostate cancer. Age is considered one of the primary risk factors for prostate cancer. There are no known causes of prostate cancer and no single, simple test to detect it. It is believed that both digital rectal examination (DRE) and prostate-specific antigen (PSA) tests are essential screenings for early detection of prostate cancer. Most cases are diagnosed through annual screening which is recommended for all men with age over 50.

The family history of Prostate cancer and the Ethnic group can be a factor to screen the prostate cancer earlier, from the age of 40.

When should you begin to get screened for prostate cancer? Your doctor will consider multiple factors before suggesting the time to start screening, but the first choice will likely be a PSA test which is the best available tool for prostate cancer screening. This PSA test measures how much of prostate-specific antigen is present in the blood.

If your PSA score is in the abnormal range, you may be recommended to repeat the PSA test. If the levels are still high, you might be recommended one of the newer prostate cancer screening tests available today. These tests can help better assess the risk for prostate cancer and determine whether a biopsy is necessary.

Screening for Testicular Cancer

Testicular cancer is a common cancer that affects younger men. Yet, many are unfamiliar with the disease and how easily to detect it. There are no clear causes of this cancer, but men who have had an undescended testicle are at higher risk.

The best screening is a clinical examination with a possible Testicular ultrasound to detect even a smaller early tumor. Also in some scenarios can be felt by self exam or buy chance.

Many men often don’t know that they have a varicocele until they get an evaluation for infertility. Varicocele is basically a varicose vein in the testicle or scrotum and is among the most common causes of male infertility. Studies have confirmed a link between the dysfunctional veins of a varicocele and infertility.

Varicoceles are very common. In fact, they are the most common cause for male factor infertility, accounting for up to 40% of cases. However, they are found in nearly 16-17% of all men. Although they do not cause a health risk, they can result in deterioration of fertility over time, in addition to the pain episodes.

A varicocele might result in low sperm production, poor testicles development, or other problems that may eventually cause infertility. The good news is that there are treatment options such as surgery which may be recommended to address these complications. So, how does a varicocele cause infertility? But before that…

What is a Varicocele?

A varicocele is an enlargement of the veins, known as the pampiniform plexus, in the scrotum. One theory of explaining varicoceles is that the valves in the spermatic cords’ veins, which carry blood from the testicles, stop working efficiently.

Why this happens is not entirely clear. However, these valves should always allow blood to flow toward the heart. Faulty valves can disrupt the blood flow and the blood pools rather than moving smoothly on. Eventually, this build-up of blood might cause the vessels to dilate.

Most people having a varicocele usually experience no symptoms at all. While some might experience mild discomfort during certain activities, it doesn’t result in serious or long-term health problems.

Many men having varicocele, can be young and living in a hot country.

The Link Between Varicocele and Infertility

It has been suggested that varicocele -mediated infertility is not caused by a single factor but is the result of the synergy of genetic and other molecular factors, such as hypoxia, oxidative stress, and nutrient deprivation.

There is an association between varicoceles and developing infertility. Reduced sperm count, decreased sperm motility, and increased the number of deformed sperm are all related to varicoceles. Experts believe that varicoceles result in infertility by raising the temperature in the scrotum and decreasing the production of sperm.

A recent meta-analysis of previous studies has found evidence that treating a varicocele might improve fertility, especially if the cause is unknown.

How to Reverse Varicocele -mediated Infertility?

A varicocele often doesn’t need to be treated. For a man having infertility, surgery to correct the varicocele might be a part of the treatment plan.

The aims of varicocele repair are to alleviate pain in symptomatic cases and to improve testicular function, semen parameters, and pregnancy rates in couples with male infertility accompanying varicocele.

Varicoceles can be reversed through surgical procedures or a minimally invasive treatment option. These treatments are designed to reduce the pressure in the varicose veins which form the varicocele. Varicocelectomy is a surgical procedure in which the veins causing the varicocele are tied off, which can alleviate the varicocele and improve fertility or semen quality for in vitro fertilization.

The good news is that your diagnosis of male infertility due to varicocele doesn’t always mean you will never be a father. Today, there are treatment options that are available to reverse varicoceles and may increase your chances of conception. Treatment is usually quick and effective in dealing with the challenges of varicocele-mediated male infertility.

Considered a `taboo` by many, dealing with a very sensitive topic like erectile dysfunction can be problematic for many men, even when they are talking privately with their doctor. Even though millions of people experience it across the globe, few men reach out to solve this unnerving problem. They may not know the cause of their problem, and they are far from certain about what treatment might be effective for them.

A common problem among men, erectile dysfunction (ED) is defined as the consistent inability to achieve or maintain a satisfactory erection. With its prevalence scaling with age and age-related health problems, erectile dysfunction (ED) can put a damper on men`s quality of life by causing emotional suffering, shattering self-esteem, and heaping strains on intimate relationships. Most experts agree that for men over 50 years old, erectile dysfunction (ED) is much more likely to be due to physiological problems, such as blood flow issues related to vascular disease, heart disease or diabetes, or simply age-related deterioration of healthy tissue function.

Imagine a treatment that utilizes your own body`s tremendous healing properties to enhance your vigour and help you experience a more fulfilling intimate life. Through extensive research over the past few years, a truly revolutionary treatment has been discovered – the P-Shot®. Named after the Greek god of virility `Priapus`, The P-Shot® has been receiving a lot of media attention recently as a regenerative solution for men suffering from erectile dysfunction (ED) and the results seen thus far have been extremely encouraging to say the least.

The cutting edge science behind the P-Shot® is that it uses platelets- rich plasma (PRP) that concentrates the growth factors in your own blood into a virtually painless, injection. All that is required to obtain a small volume of blood from your arm, and then the platelets are separated from the red and white blood cells through a lab-based spinning process called centrifugation, leaving behind a super-concentrated platelets-rich plasma that is the basis of the P-Shot®.

When injected into an area with dysfunction, the platelets-rich plasma (PRP) encourages the natural healing process to begin. In the form of the P-Shot®, experts inject the platelets-rich plasma (PRP) directly into the male reproductive organ using a tiny needle to induce tissue regeneration and the formation of new vascular networks. This results in increased blood flow to the male reproductive organ and stronger, more reliable, and more frequent erections.

If you are experiencing any of the following issues, the P-Shot® is a drug-free, surgery-free treatment that can help you restore your more youthful state and regain your confidence:

Decreased sensation and diminished stamina

Inability to achieve a satisfactory erection

Difficulty maintaining an erection

Decrease in size

The P-Shot® procedure… What to expect?

The P-Shot® is a simple, in-office procedure. Before injecting the platelets-rich plasma, a local anaesthetic cream is applied at the injection site. This ensures your comfort while getting your P-Shot®. The procedure takes about 30 – 45 minutes from start to finish. Immediately afterwards, you are free to return to your daily activities with no downtime. That means you can go back to work, hit the gym, or take your pet for a walk. Because the P-Shot® uses your own blood, there is no chance of an allergic or negative reaction to the materials used in the injection.

Although some men may notice rapid benefits within only 2-3 weeks after having the P-Shot®, it usually takes around two months to enjoy optimal effects as healthy tissues return to the area.

It can be frustrating for any man to lose his potency with the natural aging process, as declining erections may prevent him from enjoying the intimacy he has always enjoyed. As a type of effective regenerative treatment, the P-Shot® harnesses the power of platelets-rich plasma and its rich content of growth factors to stimulate the male reproductive organ`s healing process. With clinically-proven benefits such as improved sensation and pleasure, enhanced quality, and potentially the size, of erections, the P-Shot® has resulted in enhanced intimate performance for thousands of men worldwide. Over the past decade, it has indeed proven to be a game-changer in the field of male enhancement.

IT`S MOVEMBER AND WE HAVE A HOT TOPIC TO DISCUSS:

Feeling stressed and fatigued? It may be more than work, it can be low testosterone!

In the world of today, most men are busier than ever before, and they have every reason to be so! The daily stresses of life are major contributors to the way they feel physically and mentally during their waking hours, while impacting the quality of their night sleep as well.

We may experience constant tiredness, lack of energy, poor sleeping, loss of motivation, increased body weight, mood swings, depression, and some of us may also complain of a `brain fog`. Unfortunately, many men often throw these symptoms to the wayside, eluding themselves by considering these symptoms a byproduct of demanding job obligations and deadlines, a rough week of being a parent, or simply relating it to age progression. But what if life`s inevitable stress was only the little rookie in your every day`s battle against these symptoms? Low testosterone is a clear and present danger for every man, and it can result in every symptom listed above. It can drain the energy out of your body, make it difficult to concentrate, and may lead to most men`s worst nightmare; low sex drive and poorer erection quality.

With low testosterone, many men simply lose their appetite for intimate activity. It is not that they consciously don’t want it, actually they are often bewildered as they do not know what`s going on and they cannot figure out why they are not interested anymore. The truth is, men rely on a sex drive to be the motivator for their intimate life. Essentially, without adequate testosterone, low sex drive in men is common, and this may make it difficult to attain an adequate erection for a satisfactory intimate activity.

Everybody wants to think they are the strongest, toughest guy. And if you are still young, you might be thinking this doesn’t concern you, but even men in their twenties may be affected by low testosterone. A gradual decline in testosterone is typical with age, but age isn’t always the determining factor with testosterone deficiency. Regardless of age, more than a few factors can increase your risk. These include, but are not limited to, genetic problems, obesity, high blood pressure, type II diabetes, abuse of anabolic steroids, and certain prescribed medications.

Here’s the good news. You do not have to accept this as the `new you`! If you have low testosterone, the safe and effective Testosterone Replacement therapy (TRT) administered under specialized medical care can bring you back to feeling re-energized and lively each day, with a sex drive to match. By treating the symptoms of low testosterone, men feel more vigorous, enjoy more productive sleep and take pleasure in a renewed sense of self. They find it easier to concentrate and remember, with mood improvement.

When it comes to sex drive and erection, many men will find that Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) alone will provide them with an increased sex drive and an adequate erection for a satisfactory intimate life, eliminating the need for PDE5 inhibitors like Sildinafil tablets and its alternatives occupying the shelves in pharmacies.

If you are experiencing a chronic low sex drive or an unsatisfactory intimate life, your body may be giving you an alarm signal that concerns its testosterone levels. Finding out if you are low on testosterone is as easy as getting a blood test.

In our society, men who always feel tired or drained are often told it is just a fact of life, and a drop in men’s vitality is commonly brushed under the carpet as an inevitable part of ageing. But in some cases low testosterone is to blame, and there are treatments available. Your masculinity and virility are key drivers for living your best life. Talk to your trusted male health expert who can evaluate you for other conditions that might be causing your symptoms, get down to the root cause of your low testosterone, and through a customized approach tailored to your body`s unique health needs, prescribe testosterone treatment if it is right for you.

Care For Yourself, Check Yourself!

Truly, health and well-being are fundamental for the quality of men`s lives. Despite this, many men are still reluctant to take on a more positive approach towards their health enhancement. In a survey conducted by the Cleveland Clinic, over 40% of men reported that they visit the medical professional only when they are concerned about having a serious health problem.

Every November, the world hails “Movember”; the month-long campaign focused on men’s health. Movember aims to generate conversation and raise awareness and funds for men`s health issues – specifically male cancers, including testicular cancer. Indeed, cancer is a rather sensitive subject for most people as most of us know someone who has or has had cancer. It can be brutal and that is why awareness is the key. And yes, this is why we have a whole month dedicated to men`s `balls.

Testicular cancer is a relatively rare type of cancer that can affect men worlwide. Nevertheless, it is known to many as `the young man’s cancer`. It can strike in the midst of some of the most carefree times of life. More than half of testicular cancer diagnoses occur in men between the ages of 20 and 45.

With global statistics showing alarming increase in incidence, testicular cancer is believed to be about as common in young men as breast cancer is in young women. Yet this type of malignancy does not get as much attention as, say, prostate cancer, and public awareness campaigns seem always to be lacking.

Testicular cancer is a disease in which malignant cells form in the tissues of one or both testicles. The testicles are 2 egg-shaped organs located inside the scrotum (the sac of loose skin that lies directly below the male reproductive organ). The testicles play an important role in reproduction as it produces the male sex hormone `testosterone`, and sperms. Germ cells within the testicles produce immature sperms that travel through a network of tiny tubes towards the epididymis (a long coiled tube just above the testicles) where the sperms mature and are stored. Almost all testicular cancers start in the germ cells.

The good news is that testicular cancer is one of the most beatable forms of cancer nowadays, with the 5-year relative survival rate for men with this cancer being 95% when caught early However, it should never be taken lightly. Testicular cancer can be fast-growing and aggressive. Therefore, it must be radically managed to enhance cure rates.

Although the exact cause behind most testicular cancers is unknown, there are several risk factors that can raise a man’s risk of developing testicular cancer. Men who have had cancer in one testicle have an increased risk of developing cancer in the other testicle. The presence of a positive family history of testicular cancer makes a man at a higher risk. Having had an undescended testicle as a child is also a risk factor. Some males are born with their testicles still inside their abdomen. If they don’t naturally descend into the scrotum early on in life, this increases the risk of testicular cancer around three-fold.

What could be the symptoms?

In many cases, testicular cancer presents with no symptoms apart from the accidental discovery of a painless lump or swelling on either testicle. Detected early, the lump may be pea-sized and in over 80% of cases this will be painless. In more advanced stages, it can grow much larger. Additional symptoms may include:

Change in the way a testicle feels or a feeling of heaviness in the scrotum

Change in size of any of the testicles

Pain or discomfort in any of the testicles

Pressure sensitivity

A dull ache or a sense of pressure in the lower back, abdomen, or groin.

Groin lumps (enlarged lymph nodes in the groin area)

Self-examination can save lives, check yourself!

Testicular self-examination represents the key to early detection. Monthly self-examinations only take a few minutes to perform, but are critical in helping men notice any unusual changes early. According to the American Cancer Society, the best time to do a testicular examination is during or immediately after a shower – when the skin of the scrotum is relaxed:

Hold your male organ out of the way and examine each testicle separately

Hold your testicle between your thumb and fingers and roll it gently between your fingers

Look and feel for any hard lumps or any change in the size, shape, or consistency of your testicles.

The point is to learn what everything down there feels like when things are normal. And by checking back every month, you make sure that nothing has changed. If something did change, you will know it and you can do something about it.

If you feel anything unusual, have your trusted Urologist check it out as soon as possible – but remember only around 4% of lumps turn out to be cancer, so do not allow fear or worry to grab the better part of you!

Even though it directly involves one`s manhood, testicular cancer is not talked about enough in society and so many men prefer to live the illusion of “It can happen to anyone but surely not me!” But why leave your life up to a coin toss? There is nothing to lose with a regular `feel down below`. Learning the signs and keeping an eye out for them are the best ways to ensure that you get the appropriate treatment in a timely manner, if you are in need for it!

How to get the best of both worlds?

Testosterone is much more than just a male sex hormone; its levels in your body play a fundamental role in regulating a variety of bodily functions from mood and cognitive ability to cardiovascular health, muscle mass and body fat.

Often called `male andropause` because of its far-reaching effects, testosterone deficiency is a common issue that affects millions of men in various age groups across the globe. Low testosterone is often defined as the decrease in total testosterone level below 300 mg/dL. Men with low testosterone may suffer from diminished sex drive with fewer and weaker spontaneous erections, lack of motivation, decreased muscle strength and mass, increased body fat, sense of fatigue, feelings of depression and sadness, trouble with concentration and memory, plus a degraded overall sense of well-being.

Symptoms of low testosterone were often considered as a typical part of aging. Nevertheless, a nearly four-fold increase in androgen scripts was witnessed during the last two decades leading to increased public awareness about this condition and more men are now approaching their physicians about diagnosis and available treatment solutions. This serves a testament to the potentially life-transforming benefits of Testosterone Replacement Therapy. Some of those benefits include improved sexual rive, a more positive mood, increased energy and motivation, better sleep, sharper focus, improved ability to handle stress, increased muscle mass and strength, as well as improved brain function and cognitive ability.

While Testosterone Replacement Therapy is gaining popularity and is a proven, effective treatment for men with depleted testosterone levels, it does not come without potential drawbacks. Two of the common concerns are the possible impact on testicular size and fertility.

In a nutshell, the production of testosterone inside the body is a multifaceted process that balances interactions between the brain and the body. The brain is continually monitoring the level of testosterone in the body. When low levels are detected, the brain produces a hormone called Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone (GnRH). This hormone leads to the increased production of Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH) and Luteinizing Hormone (LH), which in turn triggers sperm production as well as testosterone production in the testes.

When men are receiving external testosterone to treat their testosterone deficiency, that natural process may be suppressed. That is, the brain doesn`t detect a `low` level of testosterone, thereby not increasing the production of GnRH. Without GnRH, the body does not signal testicular production of sperms or testosterone. Over time, the testicles may shrink in size and this may be associated with a decrease in natural testosterone production together with a decline in sperm count and fertility.

A lower sperm count does not necessarily cause infertility but it can make it more difficult to conceive. For men on Testosterone Replacement Therapy, the impact of a decreased sperm count is usually temporary and can return to normal with terminating the treatment. However, studies have shown that supplementation with Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) in men receiving Testosterone Replacement Therapy plays a leading role in preserving sperm production and testicular size.

An analog of Luteinizing Hormone, Human Chorionic Gonadotropin is a natural hormone that has been found to mimic the effects of Luteinizing Hormone in males. Luteinizing Hormone is vital for the production and secretion of testosterone. When Human Chorionic Gonadotropin is utilized during the treatment of testosterone deficiency, it gets to work by imitating the naturally-occurring Luteinizing Hormone. This, in turn, means that it stimulates the natural production of testosterone and sperms inside the testes.

The importance of the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) treatment has grown vastly as it presents a safe and efficient adjunct to Testosterone Replacement Therapy in men desiring to preserve testicular function and fertility while treating their low testosterone.

Between the stressors of everyday life, job and family obligations, or lack of exercise and being at the office too long you could be suffering from low Testosterone. You don`t have to suffer in silence anymore. To find out if you have low testosterone levels, asking your trusted male health expert for a simple blood test can ease your worries. As men age, declining levels of testosterone is common, and thanks to the Testosterone Replacement Therapy & HCG therapy, you can enjoy optimum intra-testicular testosterone production, leading to preservation of testicular size and fertility while boosting your overall health!

Which Testosterone Injections to choose?

Across the globe, millions of men suffer from the symptoms of low testosterone each year. This represents a nerve-wrecking health problem that many men experience, but few choose to treat. Chances are you stumbled upon this piece of writing because you’re concerned about having low testosterone (Low T) and interested in knowing more about the most effective therapeutic option available for men nowadays; Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT).

As a consensus, we know that testosterone is the hormone responsible for making males “men.” Produced inside the testicles, testosterone is responsible for the main male characteristics, such as the typical male muscular frame and strength, hair distribution, and the voice pitch. Moreover, many people know that testosterone is important for a man’s sexual drive. Yet, testosterone has other important functions throughout the body, some of which are not so obvious: it plays a fundamental role in mood-boosting, keeping the well being, and helping men mentally perform at their best. When testosterone levels drop, the experience comes with quite a few distressing symptoms that can markedly impair a man’s quality of life such as decreased sexual drive, weak erection, depression, tiredness and lack of strength, problems concentrating, irritability, sleep problems, loss of interest in physical activity and feeling generally `beaten`.

You’re probably reading the above symptoms and thinking “I may have low testosterone because I have some of these symptoms!” Though low testosterone can cause these symptoms, many other conditions could be the cause. You therefore cannot assume a man with some of these symptoms has low testosterone for certain. If you suspect that you might have low testosterone, discuss the matter with your trusted male health expert who can order the appropriate lab tests to measure your testosterone level.

If it turns out that you are low on testosterone, you`re likely keen on treating this problem and getting your body back on track. Low testosterone is a condition that no man would enjoy going through, but it’s important to know that there are options, and you might have heard of Testosterone Replacement Therapy and its globally recognized type; testosterone injections.

Worldwide, testosterone intramuscular injections are virtually the most popular way to treat low testosterone and the symptoms that come along with it. It can help men stay performing at their peak, mentally, physically, and indeed, sexually. The main reason behind the wide use of testosterone injections and its preference over other forms of testosterone treatment is that it`s most effective. With testosterone being injected directly into your body and bloodstream, you will feel the benefits faster and you will also feel them stronger. Other options, such as bioidentical testosterone gels that gain popularity from being pain-free and simple to apply, usually take time to generate effects which are also not as prominent as with an injection. In addition, injectable testosterone treatments allow for a greater control over your testosterone dosage which can be properly adjusted to help you achieve optimum testosterone levels, one important last point about choosing your TRT, is where we live, and which Testosterone is available in the market.

As most of our patients live in United Arab Emirates, we will detail more about the available options here (TRT in UAE) in general & (TRT in Dubai) in particular, the available Testosterone injections here are either a short-acting testosterone (e.g. Sustanon®) or a long-acting testosterone (e.g. Nebido®).

Sustanon® is an oil-based injectable that contains four different testosterone esters which release testosterone into the body at a differing rate, thus allowing a steady blood level to be sustained. Injections are usually carried out every 7-14 days into the butt muscles where the testosterone is gradually released into the bloodstream. Sustanon® dose is 250 mg while the frequency of injection will depend on the severity of your testosterone deficiency, the need, and the presenting symptoms among other factors. No man is like other, our needs vary, so the interval between the injections is usually determined by your attending male health expert after a clear discussion with you to decide on the appropriate therapeutic regimen taking in consideration the above mentioned elements.

The longer-acting Nebido® needs to be administered every 9-12 weeks ( sometimes shorter than this) allowing the testosterone to be gradually released over a period of time. This means that an evenly distributed effect can be better sustained. With properly-administered Nebido® injections, deeply intra-muscular, you will only have to receive a fewer number of injections throughout the course of treatment. This timeframe makes it a highly desirable treatment and the reason that some men favor Nebido® injections as an ideal solution for their low testosterone, the dosage is 1000mg, while the interval varies according to the patient’s need.

Many men will choose both, means they may start with the short acting testosterone (The Sustanon®) to feel the boost the earliest, then after reaching the peak or the expected desired level, they shift to the long acting one ( The Nebido®) to reduce the injections frequency.

Knowing this, most probably you’ve made your choice of Testosterone Replacement Therapy, and you`re now considering the next move towards getting your “manhood” back. The truth is, Testosterone Replacement Therapy is a big decision in a man’s life, and it isn’t one-size-fits-all!

Ultimately, it’s not so much a question of testosterone injections versus other forms of Testosterone Replacement Therapy, or short-acting versus longer-acting testosterone injections. The real question is: Which solution is the most suitable for you? The answer depends on your body`s unique health needs, and this will be the core of discussion for you and your trusted male health expert.

Restore & Revitalize Your Confidence … Naturally

Are you suffering from erectile dysfunction (ED)? This man-terrorizing problem is starting to exist in epidemic numbers worldwide with some studies estimating that the global prevalence of erectile dysfunction should reach 322 million by 2025. The scenario looks even grimmer in the Arab world. Despite the fact that in Arab countries there are no firm data on the true prevalence of erectile dysfunction, several reports claim a high incidence among different age groups and in men with various risk factors and related chronically prevalent health problems.

Erectile dysfunction – commonly known as weak erection – can present as an inability to achieve an erection or maintain an erection long enough to have a satisfactory intimate relationship.

While previously, erectile dysfunction was assumed to be largely due to psychological causes, this is no longer the case. Currently, science has proven that the vast majority of cases are due to an underlying organic cause. The most common risk factors and related chronic ailments were smoking, obesity, Diabetes Mellitus, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia as well as disturbed hormones ( like Low testosterone). In their desperate search for a solution, many erectile dysfunction sufferers have been utilizing oral Phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitors medications (such as Sildenafil, Tadalafil, Vardenafil tablets). However, these medications are only partially effective in treating certain types of erectile dysfunction.

Indeed, the availability of an alternative option that can distinctively address the underlying cause of this nerve-wracking problem is very desirable. The most advanced clinical strategy which represents a viable treatment option for erectile dysfunction is the use of autologous adult stem cell therapy.

How Stem Cells Therapy for Erectile Dysfunction Work?

With the discovery of fat (adipose) tissue as the largest reservoir of stem cells, scientists have gained a wealth of information. The use of stem cells has enabled them to accomplish booming scientific results that we could not imagine it was possible to achieve. Fundamentally, stem cells are blank slates that are able to turn into specialized tissue to renew or heal tissues as needed. Research into using stem cells—including the more versatile adult stem cells—to accelerate healing or treat complicated ailments has gained global interest and enthusiasm. Nowadays, stem cells – being able to replicate themselves – are frequently used in the field of male health enhancement.

Stem cell therapy for the treatment of erectile dysfunction utilizes the patient’s own stem cells to achieve a natural male enhancement that helps regenerate erectile tissue, improve erections and boost intimate performance.

Done as an outpatient procedure, the procedure takes short period of around 30 minutes. The stem cells are harvested from the abdominal fat tissue through a high-tech liposuction to comfortably extract the fat tissue under local Anesthesia. Once the component is extracted, it is processed in the specialized Stem Cells laboratory through a a process to purify and collect the concentrated cells this will take around 2 weeks. In a separate setting and through a virtually painless injection, the stem cells are injected into the male reproductive organ using a tiny micro needle that will take few minutes only. The entire procedure is done under only local anesthesia, with men reporting only little post-procedural discomfort, slight swelling and temporary redness or bruising that takes but few days to completely resolve.

Results typically start to be obvious within 4-12 weeks. Then they continue to progressively improve for around 6months following the stem cell procedure. Restoring the ability to initiate and maintain an erection capable of intimate function is a tremendous boost both physically and psychologically to men suffering from erectile dysfunction and its related emotional agony.

An extremely useful, fast, natural and effective treatment, stem cell therapy for erectile dysfunction The Stem Cells therapy for erectile dysfunction is a pioneering treatment which is helping men across the world by giving them back their intimate vigor, regenerating their penile erectile tissues and blood vessels, and allowing them to re-enjoy spontaneously stronger and longer-lasting erections.

Erectile Dysfunction can have a massive emotional impact on men, affecting both self-esteem and personal relationships. If you’re among those who suffer in silence, now is the time to really do something about it. Stem Cell Therapy is a truly regenerative, effective and safe treatment of Erectile Dysfunction. Consult your trusted Men`s Health Expert for a more accurate assessment of your complaint, he will deploy the best therapeutic protocols to help you achieve your goal of a better quality of intimate life.
